DEATH OF FORMER LOCAL MINISTER
Rev. E. D. Daniels Called To Great Beyond After Several Years' Iliness.
The death of a former pastor of this city occurred in Lakewood, Ohio, yesterday, when Rev. E. D. Daniels passed to the Great Beyond.
The late Mr. Daniels was pastor of the New Jerusalem church here from 1909 to 1914. A paralytic stroke necessitated his retirement from service. Mr. and Mrs. Daniels removed to Lakewood, Ohio, in that year, being the home town of the latter. Since suffering stroke Mr. Daniels had been in failing health and speechless. He was 74 years of age. Surviving him are seven children and his second wife. The children include Mrs. Fred H. Schneider and Miss Daniels, both of Kitchener, Mrs. Harris of Springfield, Ohio, Mrs. R W. Test of Baltimore, Maryland, William in Oklahoma and Mercer in Chicago. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schneider and Miss Daniels left today to attend the funeral which will be held at Lakewood on Saturday.
