    • John Immigrated to the U.S. around 1880 and lived in Ohio. Moved to Decatur, IL in the 1890's and opened his own tailor shop on Main Street. Married to 1st Wife, Nonie Moe in Columbus, Ohio on May 28, 1885.

      Children: Cydnor M. 1886-1957, John M. 1889-1978, Chester Arthur 1891-1968, Raymond 1895-1979, Nonie 1898-1987

      Eventually he and Nonie split up. I cannot find evidence of divorce. I think Emma E. Moe was married to Joel R. Moe (from Decatur, IL and I found a newspaper account stating that their divorce case was dismissed.

      Nonie moved to Helena, MT around 1911 with most of the children. She died in 1947 and her grave in Craig, MT. A lot of my father's relatives settled in Montana.
