    • Death of Owen Fried .- Mr. E. H. Thamer received a message on Friday last to the effect that Mr. Owen Fried had died in Sask. Mr. Fried, who was a brother of Mrs. Thamer was well and favorably known here, having formerly lived a few miles south-east of this place. His sudden demise will be mourned by a host of friends who extend their sincere sympathy to the bereaved relatives. No a particulars regarding the time of the funeral have been received, but it will be held during this week, interment taking place at Roseville.
