- MENNO C. DAHMER - Menno C. Dahmer, age 55, of 132 Joseph street, salesman for the Goblin Electric Company, died suddenly yesterday of a heart attack while visiting his son, Verdun Dahmer, 132 David street, Waterloo. Deceased was born at Doon on Jan. 14, 1885. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran church and the Canadian Order of Foresters. His wife died one year ago yesterday. Surviving are three sons, Clifford and Verdun of Waterloo, Carl at home, two step-sons, Gordon Baetz of Waterloo and Walter Baetz of Windsor; four daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Baetz of Windsor, Mrs. Clarence Rehkopf of Toronto, Misses Mabel and Marjorie of Kitchener, two step-daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Shoop of Galt, Miss Margaret Baetz, at home; seven brothers, Henry of Conestogo, William, Frederick and John of Waterloo, Charles, David and Walter of Kitchener; five sisters, Mrs. Charles Klaehn, Mrs. Angus Wolffe and Mrs. Ivan Grischow, all of Kitchener, Mrs. Milton Moore of New Hamburg, and Mrs. Oscar Yaeck of Bridgeport. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday from Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home at 3 p.m. to Waterloo Mount Hope cemetery for interment. Dr. H. A. Sperling will officiate. Remains will rest at the funeral home.
