  Jacob Tyson, "was born in Skippack Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, in 1786 and died in 1863. He was married to Elizabeth Bergey who died at the age of seventy-four years. They resided in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, where they followed farming. To them was born a family of nine children,..., and one who died in infancy whose name was not received. None of the named family settled in Canada save Abram and John"1 Eby, Ezra E. (1895). A biographical history of Waterloo township and other townships of the county: being a history of the early settlers and their descendants, mostly all of Pennsylvania Dutch origin: as also much other unpublished historical information chiefly of a local character.
