    • DANIEL LUDWIG

      PRESTON. Feb. 25-- Daniel Ludwig died at his home on Kress Hill, yesterday afternoon after a brief illness. He was in his 75th year. Born on a farm in Waterloo township the late Mr. Ludwig farmed most of his life. He retired 13 years ago when he came to Preston. Of United faith, he attended Zion church for over 50 years. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Alice Cook-Ludwig, a sister, Mrs. Kobke, Port Elgin and two brothers Herman of Breslau Road, and Jacob of Petersburg. The funeral will be held Sunday with a short service at the home at 2 o'clock, followed by a service at Hagey's Mennonite church at 2: 30 o'clock. Interment will take place in Preston cemetery.
