  PETER WEIR The funeral took place at Hespeler on Saturday afternoon of Peter Weir, for many years a prominent resident of East Orford. and brother-in-law of Mr. John Muir of this city. There was a very large gathering present to pay their last respects. The late Mr. Weir died in his 84th year, and he left a widow, Elizabeth Hutchinson, sister of Mrs. Muir of Brantford, four sons and four daughters. The sons are John of Hamilton and William, Thomas and George of Saskatoon. The deceased was born near Toronto but moved to East Oxford, where he was a successful farmer and took a prominent part in the life of the community The Expositor Brantford, Ontario, Canada Monday, July 05, 1920
