- EVANS, SARAH M.
After an illness of several months, a former resident of Hespeler, in Windsor, about 7: 30 on Saturday evening, December 28, 1940. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Evans of Puslinch Township. She had made her home in Windsor for many years, where she had been an employee of the Bell Telephone Company for twenty years. Survived by her parents; three brothers and two sisters, Lewis and Calvin of Puslinch Township; Leonard of Sudbury; Miss Nina and Miss Margaret of Windsor. A memorial service was conducted at Windsor on Sunday and the funeral was held at the Stager and Co. Funeral Home in Hespeler on Tuesday at 2: 30, by Rev. J. R. Armstrong, a former pastor of the Hespeler Baptist Church, who is now in Montreal, assisted by Rev. J. H. Peer of Galt. Interment Hespeler Cemetery. Pallbearers: Leonard Evans of Sudbury; Louis and Calvin Evans of Puslinch Township; Vincent Ryan and William Coulter of Windsor; and C. Burrows of Hespeler.
