  EVANS, DAVID ARTHUR Suddenly, at the Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital, on Wednesday, May 27, 1959, age 68. Husband of Isabella Stewart. Father of Ruth (Mrs. B. W. Gowing) of Hamilton; Margaret of Welland; and Allan of Waterloo. Brother of Robert of Hespeler; Percy of Vancouver; Kenneth of Windsor; and Edith (Mrs. Ira Sherk) of Port Huron, Ml. Grandfather of Jennifer and John Gowing. A resident of 193 Waterloo Ave. in Guelph for the last seven years, he was born in Puslinch Township, son of the late Alfred Evans and Margaret Porter. He farmed in Puslinch until his retirement seven years ago. In 1927, he married Miss Stewart. He was a member of Norfolk Street United Church. Service at the McLanaghan-Wall Funeral Home on Saturday at 2. Rev. H. Garfield Rees of Norfolk Street United Church officiated. Pallbearers: Edwin Evans, Alfred Evans, Edwin Bond, Stewart McCaig, Jack Miller and Howard Ness. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery.
