- REIBLING, Myrtle (Wilhelm) - Myrtle Louise (Wilhelm) Reibling, 82, of Tavistock and formerly of Shakespeare, passed away, at Stratford General Hospital on Saturday, December 15, 2007. She was born in Shakespeare on January 13, 1925, a daughter of the late Victor Gabel and the former Irene Kennell. Myrtle was a member of Lingelbach United Church where she was a member of the United Church Women and had been pianist for more than 60 years. She was a Past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star having been a member of the former Nith Valley Chapter #285 O.E.S., New Hamburg and currently was a member of Patricia Chapter #22 O.E.S., Kitchener. She was predeceased by her first husband, Lester A. Wilhelm on July 15, 1988 and by her second husband, Earl S. Reibling on December 8, 2003. Myrtle is survived by four daughters, Gloria and husband Kenneth Reibling of Tavistock, Judy Wilhelm, Norma Wettlaufer and Mary Lou Hyde, all of Stratford; her son-in-law Wray Hyde of Tavistock; her special friend, Glen Fryfogel; seven grandchildren, Karen Mogk and husband Brad, Brad Reibling and wife Jen, Tracy Charlton and husband Dave, Mark Wettlaufer and fiancee Kim Stagg, Jay Wettlaufer, Kristina Hyde-Myers and husband Mark, Craig Hyde and friend Dayna Walton; five great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Larissa and Brandon Mogk, Lauryn and Benjamin Reibling; her sister June Riehl of Stratford; her brother Grant Gabel of RR 1, Bayfield and many Wilhelm and Reibling brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and their families. She was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Wilfred Riehl as well as Wilhelm and Reibling brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Relatives and friends will be received at the Francis Funeral Home , 77 Woodstock St. N., Tavistock this evening (Monday) from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in Grace United Church, Tavistock on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at 2 p.m. The Rev. Marion Jackson Tyler will officiate. Interment in Lingelbach Cemetery. A service auspices of Patricia Chapter #22 O.E.S., Kitchener will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday evening at 6: 30 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Stratford General Hospital Foundation or Lingelbach Cemetery Fund would be appreciated and may be made through the Francis Funeral Home by calling 1-519-655-2431.
