  WILFONG, George Herbert -- At the Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital, on Wednesday, January 18, 1978, after a lengthy illness, G. Herbert Wilfong. of 409 Mill St., Kitchener, formerly of Arlington Boulevard, aged 84 years. Mr. Wilfong was born in Doon, son of the late Nelson Wilfong and the former Annie Bowyer. He had been employed at the Doon Twines Ltd, for many years. He is survived by his wife, the former Edith Forbes; by three daughters, Dorothy (Mrs. Veron Rosenberger), of Eden, Ny, and by Margaret (Peggy) (Mrs. Edward Wahl) of Kitchener and Audrey (Mrs. Ron Hube) of Utterson, Ont.; by a son James N. , of Rockwood Mich., and by three brothers Gilbert of Kitchener, Dr. James Wilfong and Reginald of Moose Jaw, Sask., and four sisters, Annie (Mrs. George Ayers) and Nellie (Mrs. Wes Spaetzel), both of Kitchener, Marguerite (Mrs. Emmerson Stange), of Floradale and Doris (Mrs. Russel Tilt) of Richmond Hill; 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren also survive; predeceased by a daughter Mrs. Marion Cameron and by two sisters, Mrs. Roxie Bricker and Mrs. Ethel Worden. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, after 7 p.m. tonight. Funeral and committal service in the chapel Saturday at 2 p.m., with Rev Terry Ingram officiating.
