_____________________________
The community was shocked on hearing the sad news on Sunday last that Mrs. Jonathan Kropf had died after only a day and a half illness. The funeral which was very largely attended took place on Wednesday morning from her husband's residence to the grave yard on Bleam's road. Mrs. Kropf was a daughter of Mr. Moses Hostetler near New Hamburg and leaves five little children and husband to mourn her loss
New Hamburg Independent, March 7, 1890
