  GERTH, Nelson - Passed away, on Friday. July 17. 1998, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand Rlver Hospital, age 83 years. Mr. Gerth was a member of Emmanuel United Church, Waterloo, member of the Club 400 at the Adult Recreation Centre in Waterloo and also an avid card player at the Rockway Senlor Centre in Kitchener. Husband of the late Norma Gerth, who died in July of 1985. Dear father of Steven and his wlfe Kathy of Aurora, Davld and his wife Brenda of Kitchener; grandfather of Andrew, Adam, Alan and Ethan. Also survived by sisters, Lorraine (Larry) Erb of Waterloo, Marjorie Brandon of Kitchener, Dorothy (Dot) Fuhrman of Waterloo, Robert Gerth and his wife Shirley of Kitchener, William Gerth and his wlfe Shirley of 'Waterloo, Howard Gerth and his wife Phyllis of London, Ont. Predeceased by a sister. Ruth; brothers, Donald, John and Floyd. Mr. Gerth's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, today (Saturday) from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Monday at Emmanuel United Church, Waterloo at 2 p.m.. with Rev. Heidi-Sievert officiating. Interment wlll follow in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made. to the Canadian Cancer Society.
