- Anson Robert Lindsay
Anson Robert Lindsay, 84, of 24 Lydia St., a carpenter construction superintendent with Ball Brothers, Ltd., died Monday, at K-W Hospital. He had been ill for five months. Mr. Lindsay was born Oct. 8, 1895, at Williamsburg, son of the late Henry Lindsay and the former Annie Melitzer. He had worked for Ball Brothers for 35 years and was a member of the K-W Foremen's Club. In 1921 he married Lily Chambers, in Kitchener. She survives. Also surviving are two sons, Carl and Robert, both of Kitchener; two brothers, Clayton of Grand Rapids, Mich. and Gordon of Fergus: five sisters, Mrs. Otto (Annie) Kuss and Mrs. Wendell (Lillian) Kittel, both of Kitchener, Mrs. Samuel (Rose) Erdman of London, Ont., Mrs. Joseph (Mary) Southam of Hamilton and Mrs. Joseph (Arha) Morgan of Montreal and three grandchildren. Two brothers, Henry and Leander, predeceased her. The body is at the Gruhn Funeral Home, where the funeral will be conducted, Thursday, at 2 p.m., with Rev. Paul Eidt officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland, Cemetery.
