  DREXLER, Mary Catherine Passed away at Chartwell LTC Elmira, on Sunday, May 15, 2016. Mary celebrated her 100th birthday on April 17th with a wonderful party. Mary was the loving mother of Joyce (Bill) Shantz, Deanna (Don) Nimmo, Betty (Jack) Strauss, Margaret Bisch (Paul Floto), Helen (Gord) Beal, Charles (Janice) Drexler, and Robert (Bev) Drexler. She is survived by 20 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren. Mary was predeceased by her husband Charles Drexler (1997), parents Louis and Abbie (Bitschy) Kieffer, brothers Vincent Kieffer and William Kieffer, grandson Robin Bisch, and her Drexler in-laws. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 11 a.m. at St. Teresa of Avila RC Church, 19 Flamingo Dr., Elmira. Reception to follow in the church hall. The family wishes to thank the Chartwell staff for the care Mary received during the time she resided there. Donations to Woolwich Community Services Food Bank, 5 Memorial Ave., Elmira, ON N3B 2P8 would be appreciated by the family.
