- On the 11th of Oct., in Berlin, Waterloo Co., Canada West, of Erysipelas, HANNA HUNSICKER, wife of Michael Hunsicker, aged 66 years and 1 month. Her maiden name was Clemmens. She was buried at Eby's burying ground. She leaves a husband and 9 children to mourn their loss. Funeral sermons were preached by Daniel Wismer, George Schmidt, and Enoch Detweiler from Matt. 24: 44 and Rev 3: 5. She was born on the 11th of September, 1801, and was married to Michael Z. Hunsicker on the 10th of May, 1818. They had twelve children"five sons and seven daughters. She was a faithful mother, but the Lord has taken her to her final rest, and what the Lord hath done is well done. Michael Z. Hunsicker and his wife removed from Pennsylvania to Ohio in 1838, where they resided until 1865, when remove again to Waterloo Co., C.W.
