    • WINTERMEYER, Alfred C. - Of 95 Blueridge Ave., on Wednesday August 28, after a lengthy illness, at his residence, 88 years of age; a member of St. Francis RC Church; a life-long resident of Kitchener; a fourth degree member of the Knights of Columbus and a commander of St. Gregory.

      Father of John of Kitchener, Mary (Mrs. M. E. Quigley), Mrs. Lucy Quigley, Betty (Mrs. William S. Brennan), all of London, Ont., Rita (Mrs. Edward Shoniker) of Toronto, Therese (Mrs. James Wiley) of Ottawa; brother of Mrs. Hilda Shoniker of Kitchener; also surviving are 30 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, predeceased by his wife, the former Caroline Kaiser on August 22, 1972 and two grandchildren.

      Resting at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home, Benton at Church Streets after 7 p.m. this evening, where parish prayers will be recited at 8 p.m. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Friday at 11: 30 a.m., followed by a 12 o'clock funeral mass at St. Francis RC Church. Interment Mount Hope cemetery.
