    • The remains of the late Mrs. Kuhl of Berlin were brought to Elmira last Wednesday via [illegible] and were taken to the Oswald Cemetery where they were laid to rest.

      There died at Berlin on Saturday, after a week's illness, Mrs. George Kuhl, and mother of Councillor Kuhl of Woolwich. Deceased had reached the ripe age of 87 years, 8 months and 28 days. Her remains will be buried in the Oswald cemetery two miles east of Elmira, to-day (Wednesday). There will be a short service at the house at Berlin at half past ten in the forenoon, so that it will be after noon by the time the cortege reaches the graveyard.
