  Mrs. Amy Dead After years of suffering from asthma borne with Christian patience, there passed away on Tuesday in her 39th ear, Lillie Marth, beloved wife of Mr. Oliver Amy. Deceased was born in Buffalo, N.Y., but spent most of her life in these parts. In 1907 she was married to her now bereaved husband and they have lived in Elmira ever since. Two children, one nine years and the other four months old, are left motherless. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Homer Hind and Mrs. Chas Hudelmaier, and two brothers, Albert and George, all of Waterloo. Numerous and beautiful floral tributes testify to the high esteem in which deceased was held. The funeral takes place this afternoon. The sympathy of the community is extended to the bereaved ones. Elmira Signet Sep 6 1917 ___________________ Lillie worked as a domestic apparently in the household of David Ratz in Elmira in 1901.
