    • Mrs. John Main

      Friends in the Twin-City and district were shocked to learn of the sudden death on Saturday of Mrs. John Main, R. R. No. 1, Kitchener. She was on her way to the Kitchener market when she suffered a stroke. Mrs. Main was rushed to the office of Dr. Morrison but expired on the way. Deceased, whose maiden name was Catharine Ernestine Hagedorn, was born in Waterloo township. She was in her sixtieth year, and was a faithful member of the Mannheim Lutheran church. She is survived by her husband and by ten Chidren including Herman of Preston, Walter of St. George, Gordon and Alfred at home, Mrs. Philip Spencer of Roseville, and the Misses Ella, Bertha and Laura and Masters Harry and Lorne, all at home. There are also eight grandchildren surviving.

      The funeral, which was largely attended, was held on Tuesday with services at the family residence at 1.30 o'clock and at the Mannheim Lutheran church. Interment was made in the Mannheim cemetery.
