    • Mrs. Catharine Israel

      The death occurred last night of Mrs. Catharine Israel, 164 Benton St., in her 78th year. The late Mrs. Israel, who has been ailing since last February, was born in Strassburg where she lived until 19 years ago when she and her husband, the late Jacob Israel, moved to this city. Her husband predeceased her about a year ago. The deceased was a devout member of the St. Peter's Lutheran church and of the Ladies' Aid Society of that church. Surviving are three sons and three daughters. They are Herman, Robert, Alfred, Frieda, Mrs. A. Trupp, all of this city and Emma of Guelph. The funeral will take place from her late residence Monday afternoon at 2: 30 o'clock. Services will be held at the house and at the St. Peter's Lutheran church. Burial will be made in the Lutheran cemetery.
