NORTH BAY -- After a lengthy illness, Edward George Linder, 58, 375 5th Ave. East (formerly of Waterloo), died here Saturday.
Born Sept. 17, 1895, in Elmira, he was a son of the late John Linder and the former Annie Wallace. Mr. Linder served three years with the 118th Battalion during the First World War.
Surviving are his wife, three daughters, Miss Eva Linder, at home; Mrs. William (Janet) Sayyae, North Bay; Mrs. James (Dorothy) Coltart, Waterloo, one brother Ephraim, Kitchener; three sisters, Mrs. Jay Harris, Detroit; Mrs. Grace Wettlaufer and Mrs. Jack Hodgson, both of Kitchener, and four grandchildren.
The body is at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, Waterloo, where service will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. by Rev. J. G. Murdock of Knox Presbyterian Church, Waterloo. Burial will be in Waterloo Mount Hope Cemetery.
