- Alex Meldrum a former citizen of Peel township, later of Elmira and still later, of Waterloo, died at the Berlin-Waterloo Hospital last Friday night. He had been ill for some time and his death was not unexpected. His remains were interred in the family plot in Elmira Union Cemetery Sunday afternoon.
