- A. HARRY VICE
A. Harry Vice, 61, a lifelong resident of Elmira and a former manager of Link Belt Ltd, died early Wednesday morning at the K-W Hospital after a long illness.
Funeral service will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. from the Dreisinger Funeral Chapel with Rev. W. M. B. Metcalfe officiating. Burial will be in the Elmira Union Cemetery. Mr. Vice is survived by his wife, the former Violet Morrison; two daughters, Mrs. Peter Holmes (Ruth) of Montreal and Betty of Kapuskasing; one son, James of Guelph; three grandchildren; a brother, George of Campellford; a sister, Mrs. M. G. Nicolson, B.C.
Mr. Vice was the son of Mrs. Sarah Vice of Campellford and the late Alfred D. Vice. He was born in St. Marys on June 10, 1888.
He retired from his position at the Link Belt company in October, 1945.
He was a lifelong member of Wesley United Church.
