- WEDDING BELLS
Married at the residence of the bride's father, Mr. Casper Mogk, by Rev. A. R. Achulzon Tuesday, April 18th, Mr. Amasa Winger to Miss Ida Amelia Mogk, both of Elmira. The bridesmaids were Miss Lizziee Mogk, the bride's sister, and Miss Ida Otto, of Toronto, while Mr. William Weichel, of Galt, and Mr. Angus Wager, of Toronto were the best men. The bride was suitably attired and looked charming in a pink and green shot silk, the first bridesmaid in a black silk and the second in a brown silk dress. The young couple were the recipients of numerous costly and handsome presents. Mr. and Mrs. J. Diegel, Mr. and Mrs. J.S. Roos, Mr. and Mrs. Krafft and Mr. Henry Mogk of Waterloo; Mrs. Stevenson of Drumbo and Miss Emily Mogk of Berlin. Besides these a large number of invited guests from the village were present. In the evening the band and maennerchor also, put in their appearance in response to an invitation and helped to enliven the proceedings with music and song. All present enjoyed themselves and were unanimous in wishing Mr. and Mrs. Amada Winger many happy years of married life. The Advertiser office joins in with them in their well-wishes and congratulations. What helped to augment the festive occasion was the fact that the bride's father, Mr. C. Mogk, celebrated the 52nd anniversary of this birthday on the same day. We wish Mr. Mogk may happy returns of his birthday anniversary.
