One of Kitchener's city fathers, Ald. Joseph Meinzinger, was bereaved shortly before noon today, by the sudden death of his mother, Mrs. Barbara Meinzinger, who passed away at the home of her son-in-law, Theodore Murawsky, 403 Louisa street. Mrs. Meinzinger, in her 79 year, suffered a heart spell last night, but appeared to recover and was her usual self today, when she passed away suddenly. She was born in Germany and came to this county with her parents, in 1884. Her husband, Ignatz Meinzinger, passed away 42 years ago. Four sons, George, Steven, Louis and Joseph, all of this city and two daughters, Mrs. N. Dolan, Rochester, N. Y. and Mrs T. Murawsky, city, survive with 21 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. One brother, John Horl, living in Germany, also survives. Remains will be resting at Lippert-Hunter Funeral Home, until Thursday afternoon, at 2 o'clock, when they will be removed to the home, 403 Louisa street for service, Saturday morning, at St. Mary's RC Church, at 9 a.m. Interment will take place in Mount Hope Cemetery.
