    • Sudden Death of Ludwig Krueger

      STRAINED HEART WHILE AT WORK AND DIED SOON AFTER.

      The death summons came with startling suddenness to Mr. Ludwig Krueger, one of the town's older German workmen. He was at his work on Saturday fcrenoon as usual, in the best of health and spirits, and on Sunday morning the spark of life had gone out. He was in the service of the town and was working in a sewer trench on Water street. About nine o'clock Dr. Kalbfleisch was called, as Mr. Krueger had fainted. He was taken to Mr. Huber's residence and after rallying, was removed to his home on Blucher street. The fainting spell was brought on by a severe strain on the valves of the heart, and the sank gradually until at five o'clock Sunday morning, he passed away. man
      The deceased was born in Germany but has been for many years an industrious, respected citizen of Berlin. He was in his 63rd year and is survived by a family of seven. The funeral will be held on Wednesday at 2 p. m., to St Peter's Church, and Mt. Hope. The surviving children are Theo., Joseph street, Otto, Waterloo street, Mrs. A. Williams, Peter street Mrs. F. Hilker, town, Mrs. A. Wagner, Saskatchewan; Mrs. A. McCarthy, Cleveland; and Gustave, of Bad Axe, Mich
