Notes: Ex. Private Voelker was born 8 May 1896 in Berlin (later Kitchener), Ontario. He served with the 1st Battalion Canadian Infantry. Voelker was wounded at Passchendaele, Belgium on 6 November 1917 and later died of his wounds on 3 December 1920.

- Died in Toronto on Friday, Dec. 3rd, 1920, Pte. Harold Voelker, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Voelker, of Kitchener, from wounds received at Passchendale, Nov. 6th, 1917, 1st Battalion Canadian Infantry, at the age of 24 years. The military funeral which took place on Sunday last was one of the largest seen at Kitchener. Harold leaves to mourn his loss, his parents and 3 brothers, William, of Waterloo, Ian, of Iriquois [sic], and Oliver, of Kitchener. The whole community sympathizes with the family in their sad bereavement.
