- MR. GEORGE BOTT LAID TO REST.
The funeral of Mr. George Bott, who passed away last Friday afternoon, was held this afternoon from the residence 18 West Ellen street and was private. Numerous floral tributes which were received were emblems of the sympathy extended by friends and also the respect in which they held the deceased citizen.
The pallbearers were Mr. Wendel Bitchey, Mr. C. S. Smith, Mr. Simon Dietrich, H. C. Wildfong, Ralph Doerr and Mr. John Doorr. Services were held at the residence at 3.30 o'clock after which interment took place in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Rev. Mr. Sykes of Trinity Methodist Church, of which Mr. Bott was a member, conducted the ceremony. Fitting reference to the deceased's worth was embodied in the officiating clergyman's remarks The floral emblems received included.

Outside attendants at the funeral were Mr. John Bott of Elmira; Mrs. M. Breuchley of Elmira, Mrs. J. G. Rozell of Elmira; Mrs. M. Weis of Elmira; Mr. Conrad Krug of Chesley and Mr. James Girling of Drayton, Mr. Edgar S. Bott of Lacrosse, Wisc. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lorch of Elmira.
