    • CHESTER, JAMES THOMAS "JIMMY"

      Following an illness of some months' duration, a well known resident of the farming community, at his home in Puslinch Township, at an early hour on Saturday morning, October 10th 1942, in his 33rd year. Mr. Chester was born in Puslinch Township on March 22, 1910 and had resided in that area throughout his life. Last spring, he took ill and has not been active on the farm since that time. He returned home this week from St. Joseph's Hospital, where he had been receiving treatment. Husband of Lillian Paddock. Also survived by six children. The funeral, from his residence on the 3rd concession on Tues., Oct. 13 at 2: 30, was attended by a large gathering of friends and relatives. Rev. D. E. Foster of Hespeler, assisted by Rev. D. M. Stinson of Blackstock, ON conducted the service. Pallbearers: Albert Gowing, James Brown, Martin Paddock, Ford Tremain, Calvin Evans and Leonard Bowman. Interment in Hespeler Cemetery.
