  Julius Knauff Passes Away in His 65th Year The death occurred Sunday at the family residence, 61 Water street, of Julius Knauff, a well-known resident of this town. The deceased was born in Germany on July 18th, 1856. At an early age, he emigrated from Germany, soon af ter settling in Waterloo. He was a member of the local, Masonic lodge and of the Grand Union lodge I. O O. F., Kitchener. In religion he was a devout member of St. John's Lutheran church of this town. The late Mr. Khauff is survived be sides his wife, by one daughter, Miss Hilda, at home, and four sons, Rev. W. H. of Preston, C. A. of Buffalo, W. B. of Hamilton, and August of Kitchener. Although Mr. Knauff had been ailing for some time his death came suddenly and the news of it will be a great shock to his many friends in the twin-city. The bereaved family have the sincere sympathly of the community. The funeral was held from his late residence, 61 Water street, Wednesday, May 25th, at 2 o'clock, new time. Interment will be made in Mt. Hope cemetery The Chronicle Telegraph 26 May 1921, p. 5
