    • Elmer W. Schurman

      Elmer W. Schurman of 23 Rothsay Ave., Kitchener, died last Thursday at St. Mary's Hospital. He was 51.

      Born in Pembroke, he was a son of Emil A. Schurman of Kitchener and the late Mrs Schurman, the former Anna Marie Waito, who died in 1955.

      He lived in Kitchener for 44 years and was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church. He was employed in the accounting department of J.M. Schneider Ltd., for 32 years and was a member of the company's 25-year club.

      He was predeceased by his wife, the former Anna Louise Weber, in 1957 and a brother, Leonard, in 1948.

      Surviving besides his father are two sisters, Mrs David (Vera) Eby of Kitchener and Mrs. Ralph (Myrtle) Pauli of New Hamburg.

      Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetic Society will be accepted as expressions of sympathy.

      Funeral service was conducted on Saturday by Dr John Schmieder at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home. Burial took place in Woodland cemetery
