- Herman Farrow
PRESTON, Herman A. Farrow, 69, of 550 Sherring St., Preston, died today at the South Waterloo Memorial Hospital, Galt, following a lengthy illness. Mr. Farrow was, born in East Zorra and had resided in Preston, for nearly 60 years. He was a moulder by trade and was employed several years at Clare Brothers Ltd. and recently he worked at the P. E. Shantz Foundry. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Preston. Surviving are his wife, the former Emma Hauser, three sons, Vernon of Penetang, Arnold of Preston and Kenneth of Compton, Cal: one daughter, Mrs. Albert (Margaret) Quipp of Preston. One sister, Mrs, Amos Hertel of Haysville and five grandchildren. One sister and one brother, predeceased him. The funeral will be conducted at the Stager-Barthel Funeral Home, Saturday, at 2: 00 p.m. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery. Rev. J. S. Dauphinee of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, will officiate. Body is at the funeral home.
