- ELMIRA - Mrs. Leah Lichty, 64, formerly of St. Jacobs, died Friday at K-W Hospital after a brief illness. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Levi Lichty of St. Jacobs. In 1956 Miss Lichty moved to Kitchener to live with her brother, Lincoln, at 93 Cedar St. South. She was a member of St. Jacobs Mennonite Church. Surviving besides her brother, are two sisters, Mrs. Anson Martin of Floradale and Mrs. William Thaler of Williamsburg. The body will be at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor here until Monday at 11 a.m. The funeral will be conducted at St. Jacobs Mennonite Church for a memorial service at 2: 30 p.m. conducted by Rev.Rufus Jutzi. Burial will follow in St. Martin's Mennonite Cemetery.

Lichty, Leah, daughter of the late Levi and Katherine (Good) Lichty; born Dec. 13, 1893, Waterloo Twp., Ont.; died at the Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital June 21, 1958, after a brief illness; aged 64 y. 6 m. 8 d. Member of the Mennonite Church. Survivors: a brother (Lincoln, Kitchener), and 2 sisters (Lydia-Mrs. Anson Martin, Floradale; and Katherine-Mrs. William Thaler, Kitchener). Funeral service June 23 at the St. Jacobs Church in charge of Rufus Jutzi.
