  BRUBACHER, Sarah B. (nee Bowman) - Peacefully went home to be with her Saviour on Tuesday, December 30, 2008, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener at the age of 87 years. Beloved wife of the late Urias B. Brubacher (2000) for 58 years. Dear mother of Anne and Herb Habermehl of New York, Esther and Albert Martin of Waterloo, Ruth Josephs of Elmira, Gordon and Rhonda Brubacher of Nebraska, Fred and Christel Brubacher of Denmark, Ken Brubacher of Collingwood, Lorraine and Gary Schoel of London. Also lovingly remembered by her 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Sister-in-law of Sarah Brubacher of St. Jacobs, Reuben and Anne Brubacher of Huntsville, Katie Martin of Waterloo. Sarah was the last surviving member of her family having been predeceased by her parents, Daniel M. Bowman and Salina Bauman of Floradale, and by her brothers and sisters, Paul, Ismael, Susannah, Joel (in infancy), Dan, Elam, Owen and Leah. The family will receive their friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home , Elmira on Saturday, January 3, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At 12: 30 p.m. on Sunday, January 4, 2009, transfer will be made to the Woodside Bible Fellowship, 200 Barnswallow Drive, Elmira for funeral service at 2: 30 p.m. followed by interment in the Elmira Union Cemetery. In her memory, donations to Gideon Bibles or Gospel Text Mission would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
