- KREINER, JOHN HAROLD was born in Berlin, Ont. on Sept. 30, 1899, a son of Joseph Kreiner. He was educated locally and graduated in Medicine from McGill University in 1923.
He practised in Kitchener for a time, and in 1928 joined the Ontario Hospital Service at Hamilton. On the outbreak of war he joined thr R. C. A. F., serving at training establishments.
Following his discharge in 1945, he went to Brockville as assistant superintendent of the Ontario Hospital.
He died on December 8, 1958 of a heart condition from which he had suffered for some time. He was survived by his wife and one daughter. His obituary said that he "possessed a most cheerful disposition, and was most competent as a physician."

Dr. John H. Kreiner
BROCKVILLE (CP) - Dr. John Harold Kreiner, 59, assistant superintendent of the Ontario Hospital here, died today. He had been suffering from a heart condition.
A native of Kitchener, Dr. Kreiner had been assistant superintendent here since his discharge, from the RCAF in 1945. He was a son of the late Jacob Kreiner and Margaret Schmidt, and was a graduate of medical schools of Toronto University and McGill. He was on the staff of the Ontario Hospital in Hamilton until he joined the RCAF in 1939.
Dr. Kreiner is survived by his wife, the former Millie Percival; one daughter, Mrs. B. E. Swain of Kingston; a brother, Herbert C. of Kitchener; two sisters. Miss Millie Keiner of Kitchener and Mrs. John (Annie) Fuhr of Saskatoon. The funeral will be conducted Wednesday with burial in Brockville.
