JOSEPH B. WILE - 4th son o f Peter Wile was born May 18, 1866 at Rosendale. He was married to Margaret Kuempel, horn July 8, 1868. He purchased the one acre on the Rosendale Corner, east side of County road #13, previously owned by Isaac S. Moyer, May 31st, 1902. He was a painter and also a butcher, having a slaughter house at the rear of his house. He had a regular route, calling from door to door through Bloomingdale, New Germany (Maryhill) and back road, Township road #11 to Breslau.
He moved to his father's old homestead on Bridgeport road, now Kraft road, in 1908 renting theproperty from his brother Isaac, moving to Berlin (Kitchener) in 1915. The property on the corner was rented to various parties until 1920 when it was sold to his nephew, Oscar Wile for $1,400. The Wile family were of Lutheran faith . The family consisted of four daughters - Mr. Joseph
B. Wile died in 1938.
