    • Mrs. Emma Hilker, 71, of 169 Louisa St., died today at London, Ont., following a brief illness. She was born Oct. 9, 1878, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Bierwagen. Her husband, Henry Hilker, predeceased her in 1933. Surviving are two sons, Alvin, Kitchener, and Harold, Waterloo; a brother, Carl Bierwagen, Bridgeport; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Stevens, Toronto; Mrs. Otto Heimpel and Mrs. Harvey Piellusch, both of Kitchener; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A daughter, Florence, predeceased her. The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, where funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. With Rev. Arthur Eissfeldt officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
