- David Pannebecker, "one of our most successful farmers in the county, resided about one and one-half miles north-east of Hespeler for many years. In January, 1895, he left the farm and moved to Hespeler where he now lives retired in comfort and ease. He was first married to Catharine Wanner and after her decease to Leah Wanner. His family (The first nine children of Mr. David Pannebecker's family were of first wife)
