    • EDWARD J. SCHNARR

      Edward J. Schnarr, 791/2 Weber St. W., died August 13 at St. Mary's Hospital. He was 68. Mr. Schnarr, born in Kitchener on Nov. 18, 1899, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Herman Schnarr, was a resident of the Twin Cities all his life.

      He was a member of St. Mary's RC Church and the Council of Catholic Men. He was a veteran of the Second World War and he was a member of the Canadian Legion, Branch 50.

      Mr. Schnarr was employed at B.F. Goodrich for 14 years until his retirement in 1960.
      Surviving besides his wife, the former Josephine Buhllman, are three brothers, Alfred of Conestogo, George and Leo, both of Kitchener; and one sister, Mrs. Mary Sheppard of Kitchener.

      The body was at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home where the rosary was recited Aug. 15 at 8 p.m. Requiem mass at St. Mary's RC Church Aug. 16.

      Burial in Woodland cemetery.
