  Charles A. Schaefer POMONA, Calif. Charles A. Schaefer of Pomona, Calif., formerly of the Twin City area, died suddenly, Sept. 5, following a heart attack. He was 78. Mr. Schaefer was born in St. Jacobs, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alfred W. Schaefer. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Maude Reuel, in 1970. Surviving are one son, Cecil of Pomona; one daughter, Mrs. Homer (Marion) Bryce of Las Vegas; two brothers, Edgar of Bridgeport and Elson of Kitchener; one sister, Mrs. Leslie (Hilda) Cochrane of Kitchener and five grandchildren. Funeral service and cremation, were in Pomona, Calif. Kitchener-Waterloo Record 21 Sep 1971 pg 29
