      PANABAKER, EPHRAIM A.

Word was received of the passing at Codett, SK, on November 7, 1945, of Mr. Panabaker, at the age of 83 years. He was the son of the late David and Leah Panabaker and was born in Waterloo Township on the old Panabaker homestead north of the town (Hespeler). He attended Hespeler Public School, then learned the carriage making trade with the late Jacob M. Cober in Puslinch. Later, he took up farming and followed that vocation the remainder of his life. He left this district for Saskatchewan about 1907 and farmed in the Cabri district until a few years ago, when he moved to Codette. Surviving are his wife, Magdalena Pannabecker; a daughter, Mrs. Leonard Sauder; one son, Wilfred, both now in Saskatchewan; two sisters and two brothers, Sue and Lizzie Panabaker of Rife Ave in Galt; Arnold Panabaker of Blair; and C. A. Panabaker of Maple St. in Hespeler. Another son, Edward was killed in the first Great War.
