    • Death of Mrs. Jas. Shaw.

      Mrs. Jas. Shaw, widow of the late Jas. Shaw, of Waterloo, died at the old homestead, near Hespeler, on Sunday morning last. Deceased had been in her usual health up to within a day or two, so that her death, which is said to have been caused by grip, was very unexpected. Deceased was a sister of Mr. Jas Cowan, of Craigie Lea, who has thus suffered a double bereavement within the past two weeks. Mr. Shaw died in September 1881, since which time Mrs. Shaw has resided on the homestead. There are left to mourn the loss of a mother, a family of four daughters and three sons, viz,: - Mrs. Jas Deans, Paris; Mrs. D. S. Ferguson, Misses Mary and Maggie Shaw; Messrs. John, William and Thomas Shaw, all of Waterloo township. The funeral took place on Tuesday afternoon, and was very largely attended.

      Died, In Waterloo Township, on Sunday, Jan. 24th, 1892, at 2 a.m., Margaret Cowan, Relict of the late James Shaw, in her 73rd year. Funeral Will take place from her late residence, Lot 4, Con. 3, Waterlo o Township, on Tuesday, 26th inst., at 2 p.m., to the Hespeler Cemetery. Friends and acquaintances will please accept this intimation. Waterloo Tp., Jan. 24th, 1892.
