    • DEATH OF WILLIAM MALCOLM.

      Demise of One of the Oldest Residents of Kinloss Township.
      (G.N.W. Press Despatch.)

      Kincardine, July 25. One of the oldest and most respected residents of the township of Kinloss passed away last night in the person of Mr. Wm. Malcolm, at the age of 79 years. He had been in failing health for some time. Mr. Malcolm was born at Killarn, in the vicinity of the Trossachs, Scotland, and came to Canada upwards of sixty years ago. He settled in Galt, where he married and lived until his removal to the farm in Kinloss some forty years since. Mr. Malcolm was an elder of the Presbyterian Church, a Reformer in politics and a constant reader of The Globe newspaper from its beginning. He leaves a family of four sons, one of them. being Rev. Dr. Wm. Malcolm, formerly a missionary to Honan, China. Mr. Andrew Malcolm, ex-M.P.P., of this town, is a nephew.
