    • The Death of Mr. A. O. Totzke

      Well Known Young Man Passes Away at Hospital

      There passed away at the hospital last evening a well-known citizen. Mr. Arnold Otto Totzke after a lingering illness of four months duration.

      Many citizens and especially followers of baseball will learn with regret of his demise. His popularity extended to many circles of friendship and acquaintance.

      The deceased was in his 32nd year, and was the son of Mr. August Totzke of this city. He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife and two children, besides his father and four brothers and one sister.

      The late Mr. Totzke was employed at the Wunder Furniture Company. He had resided here all his life time. For several years he played on the City baseball teams.

      The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock pm, Monday. After Services interment will take place in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

      ARNOLD TOTZKE PASSED AWAY THIS MORNING.


      The sad and untimely death of a well-known Kitchener young man, Mr. Arnold Totzke, 14 Wilhelm street, took place at the Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital on Saturday mrrning after a lingering llness, the immedicate cause being peritonitis. The deceased, who was in his 32nd year, was a son of Mr. August Totzke, 104 Water street, north. He attended the city schools after which he entered the employ of the Wunder Furniture Co., where he has been employed since the factory opened. He was married to Christina Wyonofski, of Williamsford, who survives with two small boys, Earl and Melville. He is also survived by his father, one sister and four brothers, Mrs. Alf. Scherer and Messrs. Alfred, Herman, Oscar and Clarence. The death of Arnold Totzke will be sincerely regretted by a wide circle of friends in the Twin-city, For a number of years he was one of the most popular members of various baseball teams in this city in the City Leagues. He always took a keen interest in amateur sports in Kitchener. The sympathy of a wide circle of acquaintances will be extended to the bereaved family.

      The funeral was held on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from his late home thence to St. Mathew's church where services will be held. Intern ment was made at Cemetery. Mount Hope Cemetery
