  Rufus Meisel, 52, of 60 Highland Road, passed away early this morning at St. Mary's Hospital. Mr. Meisel had not been enjoying good health for the past few weeks but death was most unexpected. A salesman for Shirk and Snider Ltd., he had carried on his usual activities yesterday and was out to dinner with friends last night. Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Meisel, he had resided in Preston 33 years before coming to Kitchener. He attended Trinity United Church. Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Herbert Meyers, Preston, Miss Doris, Toronto, and Miss Grace, at home; three brothers, Edmund, Bridgeport and Ervin and Lorne, Wilmot Centre; and four sisters, Miss Rose Meisel and Mrs. Herman Witzel, Kitchener and Mrs. William Otto and Mrs. Charles Pauli, New Hamburg. Funeral Service will be held Saturday at two o'clock at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, Rev. E. O. Seymour, pastor of Trinity Church, officiating. Internment will be in Woodland Cemetery.
