  Olive C. Schmidt Miss Olive C. Schmidt, 79 of Mt. Angel died Friday, April 5, at a Silverton hospital. She was born in Canada and had lived in Mt. Angel since 1926. She had been a seamstress for many years. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Catherine Reding of Woodburn, Mrs. Isabelle Wunderlich of British Columbia and Sister Marion Schmidt of Saskatchewan. The rosary was recited Monday evening, April 8, at the St. Mary's Catholic church in Mt. Angel and mass was on Tuesday, April 9, at the church. Interment was in the Calvary cemetery. Unge mortuary had charge of arrangement. Paper unknown _____________ She is buried in the same cemetery as her parents. She never married. She immigrated with them to the US in 1924 according to the 1930 US census listing.
