    • MRS. JOHN W. SCHWEITZER

      Mrs. John W. Schweitzer died suddenly March 31 at her residence, 15 Park Ave.. Elmira, in her 76th year. Born in Hawkesville, March 12, 1873, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Bricker. In 1902 she married John W. Schweitzer and lived in Heidelberg until 1909 when they moved to a farm near Elmira. In 1937 they moved to Elmira. She was a life-long member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church and a member of the Ladies Aid Society of the church. Her husband predeceased her Feb.18,1948.

      Surviving are a son, Clarence of Elmira, two daughters, Mrs. Buskin (Ella) Keyes of Windsor, and Mrs. Ezra (Eileen) Miller of Kitchener, four brothers, Amsy Bricker of Calgary, Alta., Ephriam Bricker of Moose Jaw, Sask., Washington Bricker of Waterloo and Arthur of Elmira. Seven grandchildren also survive.

      Remains rested at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor, Elmira, until Saturday at one p.m. when they were removed to Evangelical United Brethen Church for funeral service at 2: 30 p.m. Burial was made in Elmira Cemetery. Rev. C. B. Heckendorn, assisted by Rev. E. M. Gishler, officiated.
