- MARTIN, Ruth Margaret Died peacefully, at home, in Cambridge, on Tuesday, April 17, 2001, at the age of 76 years. She was the faithful wife of Rev. Paul Martin for 53 years. They have been living in the Fairview Mennonite Home Community, since 1988. Ruth was the mother of five children, Robert and his wife Erma of Toronto, Timothy of Kitchener, Philip and his wife Christine of Kitchener, Betsy and her friend Manee of Thunder Bayand Carolyn and her husband Stanley of Elkhart, Ind. There are seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Ruth was one of three children of the late, Addison and Hilda Erb of Waterloo. She is survived byher sister, Helen Burkholder, also of Fairview Home. Predeceased by her brother, Frederick of Harrisonburg,Va. Ruth will be remembered by many people as the gracious hostess of the pastor's home in five congregations in Southern Ontario. There will be visitation at the Fairview Mennonite Home, 515 LangsDr. in Cambridge, for that community tonight (Wednesday) from 7-9 p.m. This will be followed by visitation at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Thursday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Cremation will take place after visitation, burial at the Wanner Mennonite Cemetery, Cambridge. A memorial service will be held at Stirling Ave. Mennonite Church, Kitchener, on Saturday, April 21, 2001, at 2: 30 p.m.
