    • Mrs. Caroline Burchatzki

      Funeral services were held at Trinity Lutheran Church here on Saturday afternoon for Mrs. Caroline Burchatzki who passed away early last Friday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Zeno Sehl, Toronto, at the age of 94 years. She was the widow of the late Frederick Burchatzki and was born in Wilmot Township, a daughter of the late Mrs. and Mrs. John Zurbuchen. She and her husband farmed on the Huron Road for a number of years before retiring to New Hamburg. She lived in Stratford for nine years before moving to Toronto four years ago. Her husband died here in 1934.
      Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Sehl; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Two sons, James N. of Stratford and Alfred of New Hamburg, and one grandchild, Mrs. Dorothy Halstead, predeceased her.

      The funeral service was conducted by Rev. N. A. Keffer, and interment was in Riverside Cemetery.
